Construction Management

Hidroplan's aim is to offer clients a service to include initial concept design, outline design for planning and building control applications, detailed design and construction management. We currently employ a team of engineers, all of whom are encouraged to adopt a holistic approach to projects.

One of principal strengths is in the development of new and existing waste facilities including, transfer stations, materials recycling facilities, landfill infrastructure and composting facilities. These facilities can be brought from initial concept through to construction.

We also have experience in the design of wastewater facilities, foul and surface water drainage, reinforced concrete design and design of steel structures.

Design

As well as carrying out Civil and Infrastructure Engineering Hidroplan can bring together other disciplines within, such as planners, geotechnical engineers, transportation engineers, topographic surveyors, landscape architects, ecologists and contaminated land engineers. We also work in association with specialist sub-consultants such as architects, mechanical, electrical and process engineers to form part of a larger project team.

Construction Costing

Hidroplan's engineers provide detailed assessment of material and construction requirements with anticipated costings to assist in feasibility studies and project financing.

Tendering

We provide advice on the selection of the most appropriate method of construction control and preparation of contract specifications, drawings and bills of quantities. Hidroplan has experience in many forms of contract including the FIDIC red and yellow book contracts. We also manage the construction tendering process.

Building Supervision

Hidroplan employs experienced engineers who have experience of providing building supervision in a variety of projects.
